UPDATED: 11 Student-Athletes Announce Commitments to Play at the Collegiate Level

As of March 7, 2023, 11 members of ESD's senior class have announced that they will play at the collegiate level next year. Pictured here are seven.

Jackson Bloomfield will play football for Oberlin College. 

Blair Brennan will play football for Washington and Lee University. 

Truth Byars will play soccer for Southern Methodist University.

Drew Chairuangdej will play football for Wheaton College.

Mia Harrington will row for the University of Miami. 

Camryn Kowalewski will play lacrosse for American University.

Justin McCray will play football for East Central University.

Katherine Mote will row for Stanford University.

Caroline Ragan will play field hockey and lacrosse for Gettysburg College.

Teddy Sparrow will play football for Washington and Lee University. 

Lily Tollison will play lacrosse for Radford University.

 

Additional student-athletes may be recognized for their commitments later this year with a large celebration in April. Since 2018, approximately 15 percent of ESD's graduating seniors have committed to play at the NCAA DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, or NJCAA level.

ESD is pleased to announce five student-athletes from the Class of 2023 officially committed to play their respective sports at the collegiate level today. These talented athletes signed their National Letters of Intent and Institutional Request Letters in accordance with National Signing Day.

Mia Harrington, Rowing, University of Miami 

Camryn Kowalewski, Lacrosse, American University

Katherine Mote, Rowing, Stanford University

Lily Tollison, Lacrosse, Radford University
