Admission Deadlines

  • Grades 9 - 11 application deadline:
    January 13, 2025
     
  • Admission testing, records, teacher recommendations, and student visit deadline:
    February 1, 2025 (testing must be taken on or before February 1)
     
  • Tuition assistance application deadline:
    February 15, 2025
     
  • Admission decision release date:
    March 14, 2025

 

Admission Steps:

Applications for the 2025-26 school year will open on September 3, 2024. 

 

GRADES 9 and 10

Application steps and forms will only be visible once the application fee is submitted. 

  • Submit $25 application fee 
  • Complete student profile (includes household information and short-answer Parent forms)
  • Register for Student Visit
  • Register for ISEE test - Grade 9 or 10

Please schedule directly with ISEE by visiting https://iseeonline.erblearn.org. Requires test fee of $155 or $205 to take at online home; fee waivers are available for those who qualify. Please reach out to Megan Schroeder '09, Assistant Director of Admission, for more information.

  • Provide Testing: PSAT, PACT, SAT, ACT score report along with a writing sample can be accepted in place of the ISEE test for 10th Grade applicants. 
  • Request current school forms (includes Current Math and English Teacher Evaluations and School Records)
  • An Applicant Family Conversation with an ESD faculty or staff member about what life might look like as an ESD Eagle is the final piece of the Upper School application! Once your application checklist is complete (including ISEE scores and school records due February 1) a faculty or staff member will reach out to you to schedule an in person or virtual conversation at a time that is convenient for you. You must complete an Applicant Family Conversation in order to receive an admission decision on March 14.
  • Optional: submit separate Tuition Assistance application

*The Episcopal School of Dallas does not accept applications to 12th grade.
*The Episcopal School of Dallas does not issue I-20s or Visas.

 

GRADE 11

If interested in applying to 11th grade, please email your child's high school transcript to Megan Schroeder '09, Assistant Director of Admission, to see if eligible to apply (and meet graduation requirements). Placement testing could be required prior to an offer of enrollment for 11th grade.
