November 20: US Grandparents' Day (Ninth and Twelfth Grade)

Upper School (Grades 9 and 12) - Valet located on Merrell Road

  • 10:00 a.m. | Seating Opens in All Saints Chapel; connect with your grandchild.
  • 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. | Welcome, Remarks, and Worship Service in All Saints Chapel
  • 11:10 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. | Pick Your Activity
    • Classroom Visits (Optional)
    • Photography Station in the Daryl Johnston Family Dining Commons
    • Campus Highlight Tour (Self-guided)
  • 12:15 p.m. | Program Concludes

* All students remain on campus for afternoon classes and a normal dismissal.

November 21: MS Grandparents' Day

Middle School (Grades 5–8) - Valet located on Eagle Family Way

  • 10:00 - 10:40 a.m.| Connect with Grandchild in the Atrium of the Stephen B. Swann Athletic and Wellness Center
    • Visit the Photography Station
    • Begin Scavenger Hunt
    • Visit the Gill Library
  • 10:45 - 11:10 a.m. | Welcome and Worship Service in All Saints Chapel
  • 11:20 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | Classroom Visits and Photography Station
  • 12:00 p.m. | Program Concludes; Middle School Dismissal

Grandparents Day FAQs
When should guests arrive? 

Middle School: Please arrive between 9:40 and 10:00 a.m. to allow for valet parking and proceed to the Stephen B. Swann Athletic and Wellness Center Atrium. 

Upper School: Please arrive between 10:00 and 10:30 a.m. and proceed to All Saints Chapel to find a seat.

When/Where will I meet my grandchild(ren)?

Middle School: Upon arrival, you will enter the Stephen B. Swann Athletic and Wellness Center, where you will be met by a volunteer who will take your grandchild(ren)’s name(s). Starting at 10:00 a.m., the students will be released to meet you in the Atrium.

Upper School: Upon arrival, proceed to All Saints Chapel to find a seat. Your grandchild(ren) will meet you there.

What is the attire? 
Comfortable shoes and attire are encouraged because guests will be walking through campus and within buildings. Elevators are also available for those who need assistance.
When can I take a photograph with my grandchild(ren)? 

The photo station will remain open the entirety of the program, so there will be plenty of time to take a photo with your grandchild(ren). The photographer will not close until everyone’s picture is taken.

Can I get dropped off instead of using valet?
Valet is preferred; drop-off can be utilized for those with mobility concerns. 
I need physical assistance. Can a family member stay with me to help? 

Absolutely. We also have elevators available for assistance.
