Join us for our General Business Networking Breakfast!
The Episcopal School of Dallas Alumni Association is proud to host a General Business Networking Breakfast on Thursday, March 12, from 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. in the Susan M. Frank Center at ESD. This event is designed to bring together alumni and parents from across all business sectors—from finance and marketing to technology and entrepreneurship—to foster networking opportunities and learn about the Business, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing Curriculum Network for students at ESD.
Discover the ESDistinction Business Network
During the breakfast, you will hear from Amy Livingston, ESD's Business, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing Curriculum Network Coordinator. Amy will provide an inside look at the dynamic classes and programs shaping our students' futures, including the EagleSpark Incubator Program. | March 17 - Sign Up to Host a WORX Program Intern Deadline |
|
Since 2013, the Eastin Family WORX Internship Program has been a cornerstone of the ESD experience, providing over 700 students with vital career awareness and professional development. As we look toward summer 2026, we invite our network of WORX Partner companies to help us reach our goal of 100% internship placement for our rising seniors. By hosting an intern, you offer a student the chance to gain hands-on experience that will impact their future.
WORX internships are designed to be highly flexible to fit your business needs, typically lasting two weeks with options for in-person, remote, or hybrid formats. This program is a collaborative community effort supported by the Dads’ Partnership, College Guidance, and the Alumni Association. Your support is what makes these life-changing opportunities possible, helping to shape the next generation of leaders at ESD.
If you are interested in learning more about the WORX Program and how your company can become a WORX Partner and host an ESD student as an intern this summer, please complete the sign-up form today!
If you have any questions, please reach out to Asia Hawkins '13 (hawkinsa@esdallas.org) for more information!
Quick Program Facts for Partners:
- Interns are rising seniors at ESD who have completed a rigorous application and interview process for the WORX Program.

- Do not U-turn on Merrell or Midway Roads.
- Do not cut through neighborhood streets.
- Only queue for carpool on Midway and Merrell Roads; please do not queue on side streets (e.g., Gooding Drive, etc.).
- Do not block neighborhood streets while in the carpool line.
- Always follow the direction of the DPD and security officers.

| REMINDER: Parent Badges |
|
As a reminder, all parents should wear their parent badges while on campus.

Pondering Purpose and Impact
Earlier this month, the Community Service Council invited US students during advisory to use their creativity and compassion to create cards with uplifting notes for kids battling cancer. Wynne Horton spearheaded this activity in collaboration with the Team Izzy Foundation, honoring Izzy Martin, class of 2028. Wynne shares that her motivation was to raise awareness about childhood cancer and to spread kindness. Her efforts behind the scenes multiplied her impact and motivated her classmates to use their gifts and talents to help others.
Pause and Ponder: Multiplying Your Impact
- For younger students: What is something small you can do to spread kindness? How might you invite others to join you so the impact is even bigger?
- For older children, teenagers, and adults: Think about a way you can use your gifts and talents in a small way to help others. Now consider how you might multiply your impact by inviting others to join you. How might this invitation spark new ideas and create a chain reaction of additional impacts?
