Reflecting on their motivation for giving, Katie and William expressed, "We've seen firsthand the positive influence ESD has had on our son—we are watching him grow, not just academically, but socially, emotionally, and spiritually as well." The couple shared, "We wanted to give back in a way that helps sustain and strengthen the school, so that future students can benefit from the same experience."
The Walkers were particularly drawn to the lasting promise an endowment provides.
