Melissa Campbell has spent 20 years guiding ESD’s youngest learners through their first experiences in the classroom, fostering an environment grounded in joy, exploration, and growth. Inspired by her mother’s decades in education, her approach reflects a deep belief in learning as a lifelong journey. A UT Austin graduate, Melissa was honored as the 2025 recipient of the Thomas Family Teaching Award for her outstanding contributions to the ESD community.
