Since joining ESD in 2014, Marcela Garcini P’19 has served as an Upper School Spanish Instructor and Senior Dean, bringing a global perspective and deep commitment to service, leadership, and student growth. With 24 years in education, she is especially passionate about guiding seniors through their final year, building meaningful connections that support each student’s transition beyond ESD. Honored in 2025 with the Tommy Whitlock Teaching Award, Marcela exemplifies ESD’s mission through her dedication to developing ethical, engaged, and compassionate student-leaders.
