Capera Ryan's connection to The Episcopal School of Dallas runs deep, woven through the threads of alumna, parent, and dedicated Board Member. When asked what inspired her to make a significant gift to ESD, her answer – gratitude. "I have so much appreciation for the importance ESD has played in my life," Capera shared with conviction.
The decision to make an unrestricted contribution to endowment is a natural extension of her deep-seated belief in the school's enduring excellence. "ESD continues to grow because of the wonderful talent we are able to attract through both the teachers and students," Capera explained. She recognized that the caliber of the faculty, strength of academic programming, and the potential of the student body are the cornerstones of ESD's success.
For her, it wasn't just about the present; it was about ensuring that future generations would benefit from the same exceptional educational experience she received and her son experiences today. The D. Capera Ryan Endowment Fund, in her perspective, was an investment in the long-term vitality and strength of the school.

"ESD is as strong as its dedicated leadership, talented teachers and students, and it is only through establishing and growing a strong endowment can we secure the future."
