Beloved Author McCall Hoyle Visits ESD Lower School

McCall Hoyle is the author of beloved middle-grade books focused on empathy-building. Titles include Stella, Just Gus, Millie, and Forever Ripley, which star a memorable cast of service-oriented dogs.
Hoyle shared the special animals in her life that are the real-life inspiration for her books.
She also provided insight into what it’s like to be an author, the publishing process, and spent time answering thoughtful questions from students.
Hoyle’s book Stella features a service dog, and when Lukas heard that, he had to make a special appearance to meet the author himself.
