What an incredible winter season for our athletic programs! Our student-athletes showcased dedication, resilience, and teamwork across every competition.
Both our Boys and Girls Basketball teams captured Championship titles, highlighting an outstanding season of hard work and determination. Bringing home two championships in the same winter is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to the strength of these programs.
Our Girls Soccer team battled their way to a Runner-Up finish, demonstrating grit and competitive spirit throughout the season.
On the mat, our Wrestling team delivered an impressive performance, with Jamal Porter ’27 earning second place and both Wynn Wheeler ’29 and John David Steinmetz ’29 finishing third. Their perseverance and individual excellence were on full display all season long. We also celebrate Miers M. ’30, Middle School State Wrestling Champion, whose dominant performance set the standard for excellence and determination.
In the pool, our Swimming team made waves with a third-place finish in the 50 Free by Nahomy Palacios ’28 and a fourth-place 200 Team Relay finish (Hope Howe ’29, Sidhvi Masina ’28, Rawaan Khan ’28, Nahomy Palacios ’28), rounding out a well-balanced and highly successful winter campaign. At the Metroplex Middle School Championships, Valentina C. ’30 secured first place in the 50 Free and first place in the 100 Free, Sam C. ’31 earned second place in the 50 Fly and third place in the 50 Free, and Jack H. ’31 brought home first place in both the 50 Free and 50 Back. Together, their combined success was a true testament to the team’s speed, strength, skill, and dedication.
Our Boys Soccer team wrapped up the year with an incredible 9-2-3 overall record, battling through every match and leaving it all on the field. Though their journey ended with a heartbreaking loss in the SPC Quarterfinals, this team showed resilience and grit every step of the way.
Your Varsity Cheerleading team soared to an amazing silver place finish at NCA Nationals, proving their dedication, spirit, and teamwork all season long.
This season was defined by championships, podium finishes, and school pride. Congratulations to all of our athletes and coaches for representing our school with excellence!
