Library Resources

A group of upper school students study together in the Gill Library.

I am a trail of crumbs for curious minds. - ESD Manifesto

The Episcopal School of Dallas libraries nurture the intellectual spirit of our community. We provide a wide array of resources in welcoming, innovative, and flexible common spaces for the purpose of supporting and encouraging the exploration of interests and the pursuit of passions in accordance with ESD's Mission and Educational Philosophy.

The Lower School Library serves students from age 3 to grade 4. The Gill Library serves students in grades 5 through 12 and all adults on campus. Both library programs prepare students to be lifelong, informed, and ethical creators and consumers of information; to foster a love of information seeking; and to provide an introduction to a variety of diverse types and styles of literature, storytelling, and information sources.
