The Eve and Blake Wiley Family

The decision to establish The Eve and Blake Wiley Family Endowment Fund at ESD was a deeply personal one. “As a family with three children at ESD, we see firsthand the impact the community has on shaping their character, values, and love of learning,” shared the Wileys. Inspired by the legacy of their own parents, who were lifelong educators, Eve and Blake hold a profound appreciation for the transformative power of education.

When students are given the right tools, encouragement, and opportunity, they can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. As a therapist versed in psycho-educational evaluations, Eve Wiley knows the importance of every child being given the framework to thrive. Blake and Eve believe this is reflected in ESD’s mission of “igniting lives of purpose in each student through the development of an educated conscience” and how the school partners with its families. This alignment of personal and professional principles inspired them to invest in ESD’s future.

When considering how to give, the idea of an unrestricted endowment fund resonated strongly with Eve and Blake. The couple was drawn to the concept of a gift that "continues to give year after year," offering a level of stability that a one-time contribution cannot. By establishing an endowment, they are ensuring that the school—and future generations of Eagles—will benefit long into the future. "It is a reflection of our desire to create something enduring," they explained, "honoring the work of the educators who shaped our lives, while also supporting the teachers and students of tomorrow."

The Wiley family hopes their gift will inspire others to consider the lasting impact of an endowment fund at The Episcopal School of Dallas. "While there is no shortage of organizations that are deserving of support,” Blake noted, “we believe that directing our resources to support high quality education will have the most meaningful and lasting impact—directly influencing the daily lives and development of ESD’s students now and for generations to come, allowing them to thrive and achieve great things in countless fields."
