Afternoon Extended Day
Weeks 2-5 and 7-9 | Grades K-5 | 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. | $125
This program allows parents to pick up their children as late as 5:00, provided that their children attend a camp program that ends no earlier than 2:00. Students will be picked up at their camp by a counselor and walked to the extended day room. The extended day room will have games, books and manipulatives for the campers to play with, and campers will also have time to play on the playground and in the gymnasium. Extended day is supervised by an ESD teacher.
All Girls, All the Time
Amazing Rainforest
Weeks 2 and 3 | Grades 1-3 | 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. | $285
Join ESD's Mrs. Guzik for a day full of fun and learning while we travel deep into the Rainforest. Through fun crafts, games, and hands-on activities students will explore different aspects of the Rainforest such as its interesting animals, its different layers, and the importance of its ecosystem. Time will be allotted for free play. Campers need to bring lunch.
Animation/Art
Week 5 | Grades 3-6 | 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. | $350
For all of the young aspiring artists and animators out there, this is the lab for you! In this camp techies will learn the basics of digital drawing and design, as well as being introduced to tools and software that modern animators, artists, and designers use to create unique and inspiring creations. Art-chitects- Engineering and Art
Week 4 | Grades 3-6 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | $275
In this camp, kids will learn the basics of architecture including drawing, designing, and creating structures and buildings. Design the home of your dreams, discover the inspiration for famous buildings and bridges, or plan a new roller coaster for your favorite theme park. Art Extravaganza- "Peek Inside the Garden"
Week 3 | Grades 1-4 | 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. | $285
Join ESD’s lower school art teacher, Jordan Hale, for a week of creativity. Students will experiment and create using a wide variety of art materials including painting, printmaking, and 3-D art forms. We will explore and learn new techniques as we "Peek Inside the Garden" finding mushrooms, flowers, critters, and possibly some mythical creatures! Students will finish the week with a breadth of artwork and new art skills ready to carry into the school year.
Basketball
Week 6 | Grades 1-8 | 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. | $285
Join ESD's three-time SPC champion coach, Corey Henderson, and his strong staff for their 17th annual camp. Prepare yourself for a fun-filled week of basketball! This camp is designed to give outstanding basketball instruction and will provide the basic fundamentals, excellent lectures, 1-on-1 and 5-on-5 games. This camp will also emphasize sportsmanship and character. Older campers will be introduced to more advanced concepts. His experienced staffers are seasoned, motivated, and ready to work. Campers need indoor basketball shoes and should bring a lunch. All pre-enrolled campers will receive a camp shirt. This is a 4 day camp, Tuesday-Friday. Budding Entrepreneurs
Week 8 | Grades 3-5 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | $225
If you love Shark Tank, this empowering camp is for you! Join other intrepid campers and develop a business plan for your own business idea. You will learn to take risks and persevere, while making business-like decisions about strategy, marketing and finance (optional activities include building a website and designing business cards). Campers build confidence "learning by doing" throughout the week and make their pitch presentations on the last day! This camp is taught by a teacher from SPARK business academy. Bulls and Bears

Calling All Contractors Maker Space
Weeks 4 and 5 | Grades K-3 | 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. | $285
Calling girls and boys to create group projects (ex. Big Ben and The Eiffel Tower). This course includes making international landmarks (ex. Empire State Building or a personalized Egyptian cartouche to take home). Students will learn the steps of the design process, collaboration with others, and gain respect for using tools safely (wood, hammers, nails, paints). This class ensures fun for everyone. Campers need to bring a lunch.
Camp Crafty
Weeks 7 and 8 | Grades 3-8 | 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. | $300
Join crafter extraordinaire, Kasey Schneider, for a week of imagination, design and fun. Create one-of-a-kind masterpieces to keep for yourself or to give to friends and family. While using a variety of supplies like wood, paint, string, beads and buttons, you’ll be sure to have a great time. Come along for a fun week packed with crafty ideas! Campers need to bring a lunch. Camp Create
Week 5 | Grades PK-2 | 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. | $285
Bring your creative camper to draw, paint, sculpt, build, sing, dance, and act. Campers will engage in a variety of hands-on activities using a wide range of materials to explore their artist within. Plan to get messy, have fun, and meet new friends. Camp Create campers will prepare and present a short drama production that can be enjoyed by everyone virtually. Campers need to bring a lunch.
Camp Invention

Spark your kid’s creativity and confidence with our new Camp Invention® program, Explore! Campers will team up to take on fun, hands-on STEM challenges. This year’s modules are Robotic Aquatics, The Attic, Spacecation, and Marble Arcade. Students will design tanks for their robotic fish, experiment with animation, build Astro-Arm devices, and build a mega marble machine! Robot Island Marine Science – June 20-24 & July 11-15 (Weeks 4 and 7)
Ahoy! Welcome to Robot Island! Build and customize your own motorized Bot and use cool science to create fun robotic stunts. Explore electric circuits, gears and simple machines while determining your robots’ form & function. Construct digital traffic lights, gravity powered mazes and a powerful catapult. Craving adventure? Create a zipline across the island and watch your robot soar. Dive into the world of marine science and meet a shark, examine a squid, and make a mollusk collection. Design your own science vessel and test its buoyancy. Examine the tidepools and make your own coral reef!
Solar Engineers & Sci-Mystery Camp – June 27-July 1 (Week 5)
Warning: Engineers at Play! Design your own eco-friendly, solar powered & motorized park. Build a colorful slide, design a swing with momentum and have fun with a sled ride. Experiment with a solar panel and build a motorized spinning invention. Construct your own magical water fountain and discover how gravity and electricity make it work. Become a science detective and help solve the mystery of the Missing Zylong Bug. Use fingerprints, chemistry & DNA testing to bring the bug back. DJ Skool

Campers will have a blast learning how to DJ through the use of DJ hardware and software programs such as Serato and Pioneer’s Rekordbox. Campers will also explore different genres of music such as house, top 40, and instrumentals to illustrate different concepts. Duathlon

Come and join Coaches Howe and Geier for duathlon training. Duathlon camp will be both fun and challenging for bikers and runners of all levels. Build confidence and self-esteem while taking your skills to the next level. Campers will benefit learning bike safety and maintenance for a lifetime of wellness. Eagles Field Hockey

Come and learn more about the great sport of field hockey! ESD Program Director, Head Varsity, and Club Coach, Jane DeGrenier, will teach the game of field hockey to all levels of experience are welcome. She will be joined by lower school physical education teacher and assistant coach, Wendy Howe. We will do skills, drills, small games, and scrimmages. Players will also learn the rules of play, techniques, and tactics to take their game to the next level! Athletes will be placed by similar age groups. First Tee Drive Golf
Week 3 | Grades 1-3 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | $195
The First Tee Golf camp is designed to teach the basic golf skills through an innovative curriculum developed by The First Tee. The program was created in association with the PGA, LPGA, Champions Tour and Masters Association. The curriculum modifies the four basic shots of golf including putting, chipping, pitching and full swing. Equipment is specifically designed for young children with oversized club faces, color coded grips, and target oriented training tools and alignment markings. Each activity empowers young people to explore their abilities and develop life-enhancing values along the way. Perfect for the beginner golfer and young children wanting to explore the sport. Fun and Games

Want to unplug your kids for a week this summer? At Fun and Games camp, we are going to play a variety of board, card, word, thinking, memory, and indoor/outdoor team games. Each day campers will also use their creativity and game knowledge to create their own games to take home and play with their families and friends. Games are a great way to teach and reinforce strategy, cooperation, and so many more critical skills. Get ready for a summer full of Fun and Games! Time will also be allotted for outdoor play. Fun for Girls
Weeks 2, 3, 4, and 8 | Grades 1-3 | 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. | $285
Prepare for a week of games, crafts to take home, and fun activities! On Monday, the campers will decorate flower pots and fill them with beautiful flowering plants. We will also make sparkly headbands to wear all week. Tuesday will be filled with super-fun art projects: tie dying shirts and making paper flowers. On PJ Wednesday wear your pajamas and bring your favorite stuffed animal. Our day will be filled with crafts and a fashion show complete with jamming music. Thursday will be spent playing games and making slime. Fashion Friday will end our week making fashionable accessories that your camper can take home! All week the campers will have time to make rubber band and bead necklaces, bracelets, and rings. Time will be allotted for play in the gymnasium. Campers need to bring a lunch.
Fun With Fine Motor
Weeks 4 and 7 | Grades PK-1 | 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. | $285
Fine motor skills are the foundation children need in order to learn handwriting, have proper pencil grasp and control of a writing instrument. Join ESD Pre-Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Manning to participate in fun, hands-on experiences geared at building hand strength and strengthening grip. Activities will be interesting, engaging, and differentiated for children of all abilities ages 4-6.
Fun With Paint!
Weeks 2 and 3 | Grades PK-1 | 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. | $285
Have you ever wanted to splatter paint everywhere? Can you paint without a paintbrush? Wear old clothes and get ready to have FUN as we create, explore, learn and have FUN WITH PAINT. We will use different paints, textures and everyday objects to make painting come alive. This class is all about the process. Masterpieces will be yours to keep. Time will also be allotted for outdoor play and water slide. Campers need to bring a lunch.
Girls Lacrosse

Join ESD's varsity volleyball coach, Laura Gomez, and her highly trained staff, for four, fun-filled days of volleyball. This camp will provide girls entering grades 4-8 with basic skill development including serving, passing, hitting, setting and blocking. Participants need indoor athletic shoes with non-marking soles, kneepads, and a water bottle. Volleyballs will be provided. All pre-enrolled campers will receive a camp shirt. This camp meets Monday through Thursday.
Hablemos español- Let’s talk Spanish!
Weeks 8 and 9 | Grades PK-K | 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. | $285
Join ESD's Angie O'Brien for a week of Spanish immersion. This is the best time in life to learn another language. Spanish classes for this age will involve finger plays, chanting, songs, dance, circle time, visual aids, puppets and repetition with stories. In the early ages, children acquire the language by participating in interactive, age appropriate activities. Throughout the week, students will have multiple opportunities to use their language skills and basic vocabulary they will learn during the week. Campers need to bring a lunch.

Hoops, Scoops, and Shots
Week 5 | Grades K-2 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | $195
Hoops Scoops and Shots combines three popular sports to create a fun week of interaction, fundamental skills learning with just the right emphasis on fitness and exercise. Hoops includes fundamentals of basketball including passing, shooting and dribbling. Scoops includes an introduction to lacrosse with basic skills of cradling, passing, scooping and catching. Shots will include the USTA NetGeneration tennis curriculum with focus on forehand, backhand, service and volley. Fitness components include agility, accuracy, flexibility, balance, stamina, coordination and speed. Campers should bring a snack and a water bottle each day. Itty Bitty Book Club
Weeks 8 and 9 | Grades PK-1 | 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. | $285
Enjoy children’s books with art activities, creative drama, Word Wall and Pajama Day! Join Nancy Elliott as she shares her favorite books and love of reading, from classics to best sellers. Students will keep a journal as they learn about authors, illustrators, and characters. Past activities have included a nature walk, tea party, and watercolor masterpieces. From Blueberries for Sal to Where the Wild Things Are, this camp has something for everyone! Time will also be allotted for outdoor play. Campers need to bring a lunch, swimsuit, and towel.
Junior CEOs
Week 9 | Grades 3-5 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | $225
How cool would it be for you to be the boss at Apple or Nike for a day? In this leadership program, you can! Campers act as CEOs for leading companies and collaborate to make strategic recommendations to address real business issues. Case studies include popular companies and examine the role of female and minority CEOs. Karate and Self Defense
Week 5 | Grades K-5 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | $225
One of the expert instructors from Chamberlain Studios of Self Defense will lead students through a fun-packed program of karate, martial arts, and self-defense. This exciting camp will safely introduce students to the martial arts, as well as polish and expand the skills of those with previous experience. Activities cover all the important areas of karate including kicking, striking and blocking drills, self-defense techniques, the history of martial arts, the appropriate use of new skills and much more! If your son or daughter has wanted to try karate and the martial arts, then this is the perfect opportunity for him or her to train safely with high-ranking, experienced instructors. Learning STEM with Hot Wheels

Endless tracks and obstacle courses await every Hot Wheels car lover as they discover the world of math and physical science. What goes up must come down…or does it? Momentum, push, pull, force, and friction are just some of the STEM concepts they will understand. Measuring length and weight in centimeters, inches, feet, and ounces will help in the identification of the fastest, most efficient car on the block. Mega Loop Mayhem, Shark Cliff Hanger, Wolf Mountain, and hundreds of cars are just some of the play equipment that will have you yearning to come each day! Your child will not only have a solid background in science and math concepts, but will have also rolled away in good times with Hot Wheels! This camp is taught by a teacher from FastForward Kids.
Lego Expert
Week 5 | Grades 3-5 | 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. | $185
So you say you have done it all with Lego? Let Lego Expert teach you otherwise! Activity based STEM projects and kits that will incorporate physical science, and math all into one. Instructors will facilitate, but students will do the creating! Give your creation the most torque and battle in the robotic tournaments! Real world team building activities will enhance their engineering skill sets. Beginning coding you can see, hear, and even chase across the room. Join ESD's cheerleading program director, Megan Schroeder ‘09, and varsity cheerleaders and come release your energy at a camp where jumping and yelling is encouraged! Our goal is to build the self-confidence in each athlete as they learn basic cheerleading jumps, cheers, dances, stunts, and other fun activities! At the end of camp we will have a performance for families and friends to come and see all that we have learned. Cheers! Campers are asked to bring a healthy snack and wear tennis shoes. Mrs. McVeigh's Manners

Morning Extended Day

This program gives parents an opportunity to drop their children on campus at 8am if they are enrolled in a program that begins by 9am. The extended day room will have games, books and manipulatives for the campers to play with. Campers will be supervised by an ESD teacher and then walked to their camp by a counselor.
Multiplication Masters: An Epic Math Camp

Do you want to become a multiplication master?! Join ESD fifth grade math teacher, Mrs. Moore, for a fun-filled, five day math camp to explore or review the thrilling concept of multiplication through crafts, games, stories, and lots of hands on fun! We will construct an array city, munch on equal groups, go on scavenger hunts for multiplication in the real world, and so much more! Multiplication is so FUN! Time will also be allotted for free play. Campers need to bring a nut-free lunch.
Painting Acrylic Masterpieces

There’s an artist in everyone. During this weeklong class, we will recreate some of the masterworks from the greats…Pollock, Matisse, Owens, Van Gogh, and Pissarro. Students will learn about a different master, build creative confidence and take home a completed acrylic painting each day. New artists are introduced so returning students will be introduced to new paintings each camp. Instructor is Melanie Brannan, fine artist and teacher.
Phil Pressey '10 Basketball

Phil Pressey '10 brings plenty of insight, as he enters his 8th year of playing NBA and European basketball, in which he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, plus lots of fun activities, prizes and gifts back to his Alma Mater. Pickleball Pandemonium

Join the fun of the new sports craze for young boys and girls. Combining the skills of tennis, badminton and table tennis you get a fast moving, energy driving, teamwork-oriented sport. Key skills include agility, speed, accuracy, precision, reaction, coordination and flexibility. The game utilizes wood paddles and a perforated polymer ball (whiffle type) on a court surface modified for small court play. All equipment is provided. Rock Climbing

Join ESD’s Wendy Howe and Dena Geier for a week of challenges! Climb Camp will incorporate indoor climbing skills to build strength, confidence, and coordination. Shake and Shout for Science

This camp will explore a new scientific theme each day! Watch things bubble, fizz and change right before your eyes with fun, hands-on experiments and activities! Soccer

Join ESD’s boys soccer program director, Philip McCarthy, assistant Coach Johnny Cisneros, and current varsity players in a week filled with skill work and plenty of competitive games. ESD soccer camp is for anybody who enjoys playing soccer and is looking to improve their soccer skills. Each day will be filled with technical work followed by fun individual and team competitions. The stage awaits and it's calling your young performer’s name! Campers spend the week learning about music and instruments, rhythms, dance, and the variety of ways a performer can tell a story! This one week camp is a wonderful introduction to drama, music and movement. Each day, campers will step into one of their favorite storybooks and learn how to bring it to life on stage. Campers will use their imaginations to help create their musical production, including setting the stage with their art. Campers will have the opportunity to create a musical performance at the end of the week. Let your little star shine! Campers need to bring a lunch.
Summer Fun
Week 5 | Grades Beginner-PK | $285
Summer Fun sessions are uniquely designed for campers three and four years of age (must turn 3 before June 24). Preschoolers will enjoy organized activities such as arts and crafts, story time, music, and playground games! Children must be potty-trained and ready for group activities. Campers need to bring a lunch. Snacks are provided. On Tuesday and Thursday, the children will have a brief quiet time and may choose to bring a blanket and/or pillow.

Get out your magnifying glasses and detective hat, as we have clues to decipher and crimes to solve. We’ll put our critical thinking skills and STEM knowledge to the test, and get to the bottom of mysteries by learning the tricks real investigators use to solve cases. While experimenting with simple detection techniques, your reasoning skills will grow and your problem-solving skills will become better than CSI agents. Wrapped in games and adventure, unique challenges await you. During survival situations, the four basic needs become shelter, water, fire and food. By introducing basic techniques your child will learn how to purify water, signal for help, leave no trace camping, perform basic first aid, search for edible food, set up shelter and more. Team survival games will keep the training light hearted and fun. This camp is designed for kids who like to work and play outside. This camp is taught by a teacher from FastForward Kids. Tippi Toes Ballet, Jazz, & Tap

At Tippi Toes® Dance camp, dancers will learn technique in ballet, jazz and tap, while also exploring self-expression and creativity. USTA Net Generation Tennis

USTA NetGeneration tennis is a nationally recognized program designed to introduce young children to the sport. The program is designed to teach the fundamentals without courts through a curriculum focused on learning the basic skills.
