Dear Families and Friends,
On behalf of the Board of Directors and the faculty, staff, and administration, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support of The Episcopal School of Dallas. Thanks to your volunteerism and financial support, ESD is a premier center of learning, an unparalleled institution where community means family. Our collective belief and commitment to the students and future of The Episcopal School of Dallas are evident in many ways.
As you see in the 2016-17 Annual Report, The Episcopal School of Dallas is on a solid financial footing, and the School is marked by many accomplishments. We are bound by research, best practices in learning and teaching, and our Episcopal Traditions and Identity. We are strong, sustainable, among the top tier of independent schools, committed to our Founding Tenets, and delivering on our mission to prepare students for lives of intellectual discovery, integrity, and purpose.
We have recently seen times of exciting innovation, advancement, and momentum at ESD. When we speak about igniting lives of purpose, we are given an opportunity to pause and think about not only what our children are doing today, in and out of the classroom, but also the future impact our students will have in bringing about greater change for people around the world. Their journey is enriched by gifts made and time given by so many in our community: faculty, staff, parents, alumni, alumni parents, grandparents, and numerous friends of the school. Your generous support of the Annual Fund, the Parents' Association fundraising efforts, and especially the early efforts of our Comprehensive Campaign to increase Endowment and build a new Lower School have allowed us to move forward at an accelerated pace. Those efforts are also supported by our talented administrative team, development team, business office, and knowledgeable Endowment Trustees who work closely with the Board to ensure long-term financial growth and stability.
Because of ESD's extraordinary heritage, community, and unwavering commitment to developing the whole child, the future is full of unlimited opportunities.
Thank you for your steadfast dedication and generosity.
With gratitude and purpose,
Laura B. Boeckman
