Holiday Dance Performance

Student Author: Alexandra Everbach '19

This evening, ESD Dance is having their Holiday Performance at 6:00 p.m. in the Bray Performance Hall. Some of the Middle and Upper School dancers had such a fun time advertising for the show and giving out donuts in carpool today! We are so glad that ESD has a dance program that allows us to expand our dance skills for beginning and advanced dancers.

Getting Ready for Hanukkah

Student Author: Carly Weisberg '18

Something really special I've loved from my school experience is when the Jewish Student Union meets to celebrate Shabbat, the Jewish Sabbath. We light and say the prayer over the Shabbat candles, the Challah (bread) and over the grape juice.  Today, we discussed our upcoming Chapel talk on Hanukkah.

Today, students helped with a community service pop-up project decorating gifts bags for Meals on Wheels's Christmas deliveries. The items the kids wrapped earlier in the year will go in these bags. We love spreading the Christmas cheer!
