A Day On, Not Off

Student Authors: Penelope North '21 and Jordan Aikman '20

Yesterday, current ESD 8th graders worked side-by-side with 9th-grade applicants in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. They worked to make Valentine’s Day hearts to pair with Meals on Wheels food deliveries and help box school supplies for Family Legacy schools in Zambia. Thank you to all Class of 2023 students who came out to serve the community!

Helping Hands

Student Author: Abby Brand '20

Welcome back, Eagles! Many ESD students found themselves volunteering at the Trains at Northpark during this holiday break. The Trains provide the primary source of fundraising for the Ronald McDonald House so it is particularly helpful that all of the people working around the event are volunteers! My friend Ty collected the tickets while Kerrm and I helped answer questions from the attendees.
