ESD student newspaper publication, Eagle Edition, has been awarded a Silver Star by the Interscholastic League Press Conference.

Yesterday afternoon, all three divisions came together to celebrate the culmination of a successful admission season and to welcome our new families into the ESD community. 
Sixteen students from the Class of 2018 were inducted into the prestigious Cum Laude Society during a ceremony at All Saints Chapel this afternoon.
Current and alumni ESD rowers fought it out on the water this past weekend in various regattas with some great results.
To kick off the fifth annual Alumni Weekend, four ESD alumni returned to campus and hosted a discussion panel for juniors and seniors.
This afternoon, 48 members of the Class of 2019 were inducted into the National Honor Society.

Starting July 1, 2018, ESD is pleased to announce that Chelle Wabrek will become the Interim Head of Middle School and Tracey Shirey will advance to the position of Interim Head of Lower School.
For the 13th Annual Elizabeth Anne Worsham Visiting Author Presentation, Lower School students of all ages had the opportunity today to hear from children's book author Kimberly Willis Holt.
Juniors and seniors had the opportunity to hear from Dr. Linda Abraham-Silver, the Eugene McDermott Chief Executive Officer of the Perot Museum, as part of the annual Robert H. Dedman Lecture Series Endowment for Leadership.
