Full faculty and staff returned to campus on Monday, and have been busy all week preparing for our students and the first day of school.

ESD student Gillian Campbell '18 spent her summer interning with the Dallas division of the FBI.
Yesterday, members of ESD's faculty and staff paused their in-service activities for a morning of community service activities with Children's Hunger Fund.
Seven ESD seniors successfully completed the 2017 Pete Sessions Leadership and Growth Program in Washington DC this summer.

This summer, ESD had 13 Upper School students participate in the global service program Students Shoulder to Shoulder in locations both domestic and abroad.
ESD Crew earned four bids to the national championships; a sophomore finished fifth fasted in the USA!
Phil Pressey graduated The Episcopal School of Dallas in 2010 and went on to play basketball at the University of Missouri until he decided to forgo his senior year and declare for the NBA draft.
A total of ten members of the Class of 2017 will now play their respective sports at college next year.

Bryce Miltenberger and Mason Gosslee have both been selected to attend US National Level Rowing Camps this summer.
The Episcopal School of Dallas was honored to welcome John Quiñones, Emmy-winning journalist and host of the ABC ethics-inspired show "What Would You Do?," as the commencement speaker at the graduation of the Class of 2017.
Eighth graders were recently put to the test to stretch their imaginations and put themselves in another's shoes; specifically, Martin Luther King Jr.'s shoes.
Earlier this month, several of our Fine Arts teachers attended the opening reception of the Artist As Teacher/Teacher As Artist invitational exhibition.
Mason Gosslee & Christian King placed 4th at the prestigious Stotesbury Regatta to lead ESD.
Students have been racking up the awards in foreign language contests this year.
