Puckett Family Endowment Supports Servant Leadership and Service Programming
Posted 05/06/2019 11:30AM

The Puckett family aligns their gift with a priority of The Episcopal School of Dallas: Endowment.

Alumni parents, Beth and J. Puckett P'10, '11 '14, '17, (with Beth also currently serving as a Board member) invest in ESD by establishing a named endowment fund – The Puckett Family Endowment.

What inspired your family to make a gift to The Campaign for The Episcopal School of Dallas?

We love ESD and are very thankful for the multifaceted educational foundation that it provided for our children to flourish in college and beyond.

What appealed to you about giving to endowment?

We prefer to give in a fashion that allows for perpetual giving.

Please describe the purpose of your endowment fund.

Establishing the Puckett Family Endowment allows us to support programming that we feel is integral to the culture of ESD - servant leadership and community service - and aligns with ESD’s strategic priority of “Excellence in Learning and Teaching.”

What advice would you offer to inspire others to consider establishing an endowment fund?

With an endowment fund, one can tailor their gift to support the intersection of ESD’s mission and the family’s specific interests and passions. As we grow our endowment so many new endeavors become possible for ESD. There are limitless possibilities!
