The Upper School Community Service Council is hosting their annual Thanksgiving Dinner food drive supporting Prism Health North Texas. We are asking Upper School students to fill bags with the items listed below.
Prism Health is the largest nonprofit HIV/AIDS service organization in North Texas, serving over 14,000 at risk, HIV infected individuals and over 700 impacted children every year. Each year, they host their Thanksgiving Dinner Project to provide Thanksgiving meals for low-income clients. ESD students are asked to help by providing Thanksgiving dinners to their clients. Please fill a grocery sack with the following items:
- 2 boxes of macaroni and cheese
- 2 boxes of stuffing
- 2 cans of green beans
- 2 cans of corn
- 1 can of cranberries
- 1 package or box of lemonade or cider mix
- 1 bag of dinner rolls
Social workers will deliver the bags, along with a turkey, the week of Thanksgiving. Please place bags in the Study Commons November 12 - November 16. Students will earn 1 hour of service per dinner, up to 3 dinners.
