The Class of 2018 is earning college scholarships and acceptances across the board. This year's group of seniors have tallied 448 acceptances at 132 different colleges and universities in the US and abroad as of this week. Comprehensively, the seniors have received over $8,650,000 in scholarship offers so far.
College acceptances include University of Pennsylvania, Boston University, Johns Hopkins University, Brown University, Stanford University, The George Washington University, Washington & Lee University, Arizona State University, Tufts, Case Western Reserve University, Indiana University, University of Hawaii, New York University, Texas Tech University, Colorado School of Mines, University of Georgia, Howard University, University of Southern California, Duke University, Vanderbilt, Santa Clara, Reed College, Northwestern University, Georgia Tech, University of Michigan, Wake Forest, Emory, University of Virginia, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Rice, University of St. Andrews-Scotland, University of Texas, Texas A&M, Southern Methodist University, Rice, Tulane, Texas Christian University, Clemson, Purdue, Furman, Sewanee, Georgetown University, and many more! Beyond academics, these students are exemplary in their extracurriculars. The 107-member class has given more than 24,000 hours of community service, 15 will continue varsity sports at the collegiate level, and 21 presented their art at one of two AP Art Shows this semester.
