The Episcopal School of Dallas is glad to announce a multi-year campaign gift by Lower School parents Christina and Greg Gray. The Gray Family gift helps fund the building of the new Lower School on the Merrell Road Campus.
"When we returned to Dallas from overseas, we were drawn to the ESD community and the School's excellent reputation," Greg Gray said. "We feel ESD is unique in being focused, yet balanced. ESD maintains its focus on rigorous academic standards and excellence while balancing a strong sense of community, faith-based education, the arts, and competitive athletics."
The Gray family attributes their decision to make a gift to the campaign as a demonstrative way to support their children, their friends' children, and the future of our school. And, they wanted to be a part of this important time in ESD's history.
"Maintaining leading faculty and facilities is paramount," said Gray. "Our hope for the future, and in particular for the new Lower School, is for ESD to be a leading example of what Dallas stands for locally, nationally, and globally."
The Campaign for The Episcopal School of Dallas, which was publicly announced on September 22, 2017, is founded on a thoughtful and strategically phased plan that will bring ESD's shared vision to life. It has three priorities: increasing the endowment for greater sustainability, uniting the community on one campus by building an innovative new Lower School, and affirming today's educational experience through the Annual Fund.
