This summer, Samuel Billig '17 and Tarushi Mittal '18 received their Diplômes de Français des Affaires, or French Business Diplomas, for their knowledge and aptitude in Business French. The Business French class is offered as a post-AP French class, once students have taken, and succeeded in, the highest level of AP French courses.
In order to receive the their Diplômes de Français des Affaires, the students had to go to a testing center in early May to sit for an exam, which reflects both written and spoken knowledge of the language as it pertains specifically to business. The exam itself consists of written essays and two interviews in French with a judge.
This professional diploma is awarded through the Paris Business Chamber (Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris) and is recognized by any company doing business in French.
Congratulations on this high achievement, Eagles!
