Seven ESD seniors successfully completed the 2017 Pete Sessions Leadership and Growth Program in Washington DC this summer. The program, which runs every June and July, allows high school students the opportunity to watch our government in action firsthand.
Brody Baird '18, Rowen Brown '18, Ryan Franks '18, Zeke Gibson '18, Jack Hardage '18, Pearson Riley'18, and Jack Webb'18 each spent a week observing House Committee hearings and attending program forums with government officials and leaders.
"Each year I am delighted to welcome students from the Episcopal School of Dallas to our nation's capital," said Sessions. "These young leaders will undoubtedly be the future pillars of our communities and I look forward to seeing them grow and achieve their goals."
We're so proud of our seniors representing ESD in our nation's capital. Well done!
