Thomas Keller '17 will be joining Dell this summer as an Undergraduate Engineering intern, a position that is usually only awarded to juniors and seniors in college who fit the impressive criteria.
Before his first semester of college at Rice University, Keller will spend ten weeks in Round Rock, Texas working with a team modifying and maintaining the code for the servers that Dell produces.
“I'm hoping to learn a lot from getting the chance to work alongside such experienced engineers at such an early stage in my career, as well to make some valuable industry connections,” said Keller.
He initially chose to apply to Dell because he was searching for an internship that could help him narrow down what aspect of the computer science field he wanted to specialize in before starting college. The experience he would gain with Dell was incomparable, and the company is a well-known and respected brand in the industry.
Well done, Eagle! Good luck down in Round Rock this summer.
