The Middle School of The Episcopal School of Dallas is committed to providing a supportive environment that allows students to explore and develop their own intellectual, creative, and physical abilities while being a part of a community anchored in honor, respect, and integrity. Students are encouraged to think independently, love learning, and act with moral and social responsibility within a life guided by faith.
Our teachers are passionate about challenging their students academically, while having high expectations for self-discipline and relationships. We know that the team approach works best for our students and the child’s family is a major player on the team. Working together with students, teachers, and the family to nourish this fundamental growing time for students, ESD students are well prepared to meet the requirements of Upper School.
The advisory program is a cornerstone to the Middle School. Each advisory is comprised of 8-10 students and one faculty member. They attend chapel together each day and eat together at lunch. Advisories also work together on Community Service projects, Wolf Run trips, and special programming. This time together allows the advisor to know as much as possible about their students and be the best advocate for each student. Our advisory program helps create a unique environment in the ESD Middle School.
