WINTER SPORTS RECAP

Boys Soccer - Our Varsity Boys Soccer team finished the regular season 4th in the North Zone with a 4-2-1 counter record. They were able to rally for a 3rd place finish in the SPC 3A Tournament, knocking off St. Stephen’s and Fort Worth Country Day in tournament play.

Girls Soccer - Our Varsity Girls Soccer team finished the regular season 3rd in the North Zone with a 3-2-1 counter record. They ended the season with a 6th place showing in the SPC 4A Tournament but were able to secure a thrilling second-round victory over St. Stephen’s after going to penalty kicks.

Boys Basketball - Our Varsity Boys Basketball team posted a 2-5 counter record before finishing 6th in the SPC 4A Tournament. After facing the eventual 4A Runner-up Episcopal in the first round, the Eagles rebounded with a second-round win over Kinkaid before falling to Greenhill in the 5th place game.

Girls Basketball - Our Varsity Girls Basketball team finished the regular season 2nd in the North Zone with a 5-1 counter record. They ended the season with a 4th place finish in the SPC 4A Tournament, falling to the tournament champion Houston Christian in the semifinals.

Swimming - Our Varsity Swimming team competed at meets in Dallas throughout the winter before the SPC 3A Championship, held at Lewisville ISD Natatorium. Dagen Geier '23 earned a bronze medal in the 50m freestyle en route to All-SPC Honors. Jesi Geier '25 placed 4th in both the 50m and 100m freestyle events at the championship meet as well.

Wrestling - Our Varsity Wrestling team competed against private and public schools all over Texas before heading to the Texas State Prep Championships at McKinney Christian and the SPC Championships at St. Mark’s. At the Texas State Prep Championships, Cindy Lin '25 brought home the silver medal in the inaugural girls tournament. At the SPC Championships, Elliott McCabe '23 brought home the silver medal at 150lbs, while Vaughn Langston '25 and James Altizer '25 brought home bronze medals at 175lbs and 190lbs, respectively.
