How long have you been at ESD?

"10 years as a faculty member, 15 as a student."

What's your favorite class/project?

"When I was in school, the 8th grade earthquake project was my favorite. As an employee, I love the third grade food insecurity unit that culminates in a field trip to Tom Thumb and a campus wide food drive each fall"

What was your favorite subject in school?

"Math - I liked knowing there was always a right answer that I could hopefully find."

What's your favorite spot on campus?

"Jones Family Stadium"

What's your favorite sweet treat/candy?

"Reeses"

Did you always know you wanted to be a teacher or coach?

"I always knew I loved learning (thanks ESD) and wanted to be in a school environment, but I wasn't sold on being a classroom teacher. I feel like I have found the best balance having the opportunity to work in a school and work with kids in many different capacities  but also be on the operations/administrative side."

What's a fun fact about you?

"I  am a type 1 diabetic. Also, I got married in All Saints Chapel in the middle of COVID"

What's your hobby?

"Anything in or by the water with family and friends. I also love taking walks with my husband Jordan and two dogs"

What do you love most about ESD?

"l love that all that we do is for the betterment of the students. I also love the immense amount of pride our students, alumni, and community members feel to be Eagles."

"You don't have to be perfect - just do your best and be you! Shine in your own way! "
