"My favorite project is the First Grade Christmas Musical."

What was your favorite subject in school?

"My favorite subject is Math. I love the problem solving and critical thinking skills math brings out in children."

What's your favorite spot on campus?

"The quarry. It is such a peaceful place in the heart of our campus."

What's your favorite sweet treat/candy?

"Gummy Bears, of course!"

Did you always know you wanted to be a teacher?

"Yes, I have always wanted to be a teacher; however, I was encouraged to Major in Business. After graduating from UT, I entered the business world as a law firm recruiter. I quickly learned my heart was still in education. I went back to get my masters in Elementary Education and the rest is history."

What's a fun fact about you?

"I studied abroad in Sevilla."

What's your hobby?

"I love to run and play tennis."

What do you love most about ESD?

"I love the mission of the school and daily Chapel. I believe both inspire and unify our school community."

What is one tip you would give to students?

"Comparing is the thief of joy!"
