Did you always know you wanted to be a teacher?
"No, I never thought I would be a teacher. I started to realize that I might be a decent teacher due to working with apprentices and interns at multiple arts organizations. I saw an opening at ESD, and the rest is history."
Fun Fact.
"I've run three marathons, over 30 half marathons, and over 50 5K and 10K races."
Hobby.
"Probably too many to list. The main ones would be singing, writing, and cooking."
What do you love about ESD?
"I get to work with a number of faculty who taught me when I was a student. It was weird when I started, but now I love it. It's a unique experience."
What's 1 tip you would give to students?
"Step out of your comfort zone and try something new. You never know what else you might enjoy and be good at. You won't know until you try!"
