Katie Voss

Updated February 11, 2019

Three Middle School artists won awards at the Private School Art Invitational earlier this month. Edie '26 won third place, Lilly '23 won first place, and Elizabeth '23 won honorable mention. Congratulations to these artists on this outstanding accomplishment! These works, along with the entire exhibit, will remain on display until March 5.

The Thirty-fifth Annual Private School Art Invitational Contest and Exhibition will be hosted by The Episcopal School of Dallas next Wednesday, February 6. PSAI 2019 includes middle school students, grades five through eight from seventeen private schools in the Dallas / Fort-Worth area.

There will be an opening reception and awards ceremony held on Wednesday, February 6 at 5:00 p.m. The exhibition will then be on display throughout the School House building from 8:00 – 4:00 p.m. beginning Thursday, February 7 through March 5. Francene Christianson, a local painter with an extensive background in creative agencies across the US, will serve as the judge. Students will be awarded first, second, third, and honorable mention, as well as Best of Show at the opening awards ceremony.

The Private School Art Invitational is hosted by local art teachers to celebrate the arts in our schools.

We can't wait to see what amazing works these students create!
