The ESD band students performed very well during the Texas Private School Music Educators Association Solo Contest held in early March. The results are criterion-referenced with a #1 being the top rating, #2 the second rating, etc. Additionally, in the Upper School grades, if a student performs the most difficult level of solo, and earns a top rating, they become eligible for the All State Solo Contest in May -- two of our Upper School students have qualified.
