"I've wanted to be a teacher since I was in pre-school, but I was a professional writer and editor first. Teaching is what I was meant to do, though."

"I know how to tap dance. I also have chickens. (I don't tap dance with the chickens.)"

"Travel"

"My students and my colleagues give me life and feel like family."
