The Episcopal School of Dallas has been honored with the 2021 Strength of America Award by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). This award is given to schools that raise strength and conditioning standards, creating safer programs and facilities for their athletes.
Our strength & conditioning program, selected from hundreds of schools, was recognized for its excellence in four major categories: Supervision, Education, Program, and Facilities. Director of Sports Performance Phil Mosley, who recently joined ESD in summer 2020, was instrumental in preparing the weight room and training facility for evaluation by the NSCA.
"We are honored and humbled to receive this award from the National Strength & Conditioning Association," Coach Mosley says. "The Strength of America Award represents the Gold Standard for High School Strength and Conditioning and our athletes, athletic department leadership, and school administration have done a tremendous job helping us to achieve success this year."
