Coach Henderson says the results are a team effort, "Our guys collectively have done well! It's not about our goals that make us achieve, it's about our commitment to the process of achieving. Our team TCC motto (Trust, Commitment, and Care) and the 3 A’s of Approach, Attitude, and Appreciation have given these student-athletes a purpose and understanding of what it takes to be successful and leaders in the community."

This is the first time in its 12 years of participation that ESD has advanced to the Gold Championship of this tournament. In 2009, ESD advanced to the consolation championship, losing to the eventual 5A UIL state champ DeSoto.

Proud of you, Eagles!
