For the second year in a row, middle school storyteller Arya '26 was selected to attend the Timpanogos Story Telling Festival in Lehi, UT. Arya was one of 19 National Youth Storytellers selected for the 32nd annual event.
Arya has been participating in storytelling festivals throughout Texas for the past few years. She is passionate about public speaking and enjoys coaching young kids the basics of the art - you may have heard her speak in daily worship in the past!
The Timpanogos Story Telling Festival is the largest storytelling festival in the western United States and brings together select storytellers from across the nation. It is also one of the few storytelling festivals that select and admit youth storytellers. Although last year's event went completely virtual due to the pandemic, this year, Timpanogos offered dual access both in-person and online, allowing more than one thousand attendees to hear stories from across the country.
If you missed this year's festival, the event will be available online for viewing through January 4.
Way to go, Eagle - we are so proud of you!
