Carillon, ESD's student yearbook, has received national recognition in two separate competitions. 

The yearbook has been announced as a finalist for the NSPA Pacemaker Yearbook Award, which recognizes overall excellence and distinguishes the top student media produced during a particular school year. Winners will be announced at the JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism Convention in Los Angeles later this spring. Congratulations to all the Carillon staff!

In addition to this prestigious award, the Carillon and its students were also recognized by the Interscholastic League Press Conference (ILPC). The Carillon staff was awarded Third Place for Theme Selection And Development, and 36 students were recognized for their individual work in three different categories:
