Monthly Overview
- September 2, 2026: Middle School Back-to-School Night for Parents Only (5:30 p.m.)
- Parents begin in the chapel and learn about their child’s class schedule (badges must be worn; parent badges and/or vehicle stickers ordered by August 30, 2026, will be handed out at the event).
- The ESD Ed Tech Team will be available in the Study Commons to answer questions about Schoology, the Schoology app, Veracross, or general tech support.
- September 3, 2026: Eagles Nest Online Store Opens for Homecoming Merch (Sweatshirts/Ribbons)
- September 4, 2026: ESD+ Middle School Aftercare and Before and After School Program Registration Closes (5:00 p.m.)
- September 7, 2026: Labor Day (No School)
- September 8, 2026: Day 7
- September 8, 2026: Homecoming T-shirts (Benefiting Student Council) Available for Purchase in the Eagles Nest
- September 9, 2026: Middle School Picture Day
- Students wear Formal Uniform.
- September 9, 2026: ESDPA Uniform Resale Shop is Open (8:00 – 10:00 a.m.)

- September 16, 2026: Pin It On Ceremony for Grade 5
- Formal uniform; ceremony is for students only.

In Lower School, the year begins with reminders during chapel and throughout the day that the ESD Way guides our actions and interactions. The reminders to “stay curious and seek solutions” and “appreciate and encourage others” invite us to reflect on the impact we have on others and to decide if we are showing up as our best selves. Consider the posters, prayers, songs, and even billboards that surround you at school, at home, and at church and invite you to reflect on your impact. Create a family habit of noticing these nudges and sharing your quick reflections. |
