| October 20 - Conference Sign-up Opens in your MyESD Parent Portal | ||
|
At 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20, parents can sign up for conferences in their MyESD Parent Portal. Conference day is November 5. Additional lower school sign-up days are also available the week of November 3. If you need help signing in to your MyESD portal, please email parentsupport@esdallas.org. Conference sign-up closes on November 3. |

| November 3-7 - Now Forward Food Drive | ||

The third-grade students will be leading our Lower School in this year's Now Forward Food Drive (formally known as the North Dallas Shared Ministries Food Drive). This is a great opportunity for children to practice thankfulness and make a positive difference in the community! You can drop off donations each morning during carpool or bring your donations to Conference Day. Below is a list of recommended donation items; please do not donate glass or expired items. Pantry Wish List:

The Eagles Nest will be hosting a great sale on Conference Day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for all divisions. Grab some new ESD spiritwear for prices as low as $5.00! |
The ESD Fund impacts a variety of areas within the classroom and beyond it! Your gift enables students to explore their passions and have a profound impact on their academic journey, igniting lives of purpose. 
Join us for this year's annual Community Picnic and Homecoming Celebration on Friday, October 24, from 5:30 - 6:45 p.m. The evening celebration will be full of family fun and food from SAGE. The celebration will end with our Eagle Walk Parade, celebrating the Varsity Football and Cheer teams; the Varsity football game will kick off at 7:00 p.m. We can't wait to see you there!
Join the Dads' Partnership for a Lower School Movie Night on November 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Stoffel Commons! Pondering Purpose and Impact
Our eighth graders are exploring the Engineering, Architecture, and Real Estate Network during their FLEX period by using the engineering design process to design and prototype roller coasters using cardstock and tape.
Pause and Ponder: Building with Purpose
- For younger children: What do you like to build with LEGOs, blocks, Magna-Tiles, or other supplies? What sparks your imagination as you decide what to build?
- For older children, teenagers, and adults: If you could create a new invention or innovate an existing product, what would you create and why? Think about what your answer tells you about your interests and passions. How can you find ways to explore these creative ideas?
