Concerns of Extreme Heat Moves Event to Friday, October 13
The back-to-school CommUNITY picnic and celebration is postponed to Friday, October 13, due to the forecast for extreme heat. Although we are disappointed to not celebrate as originally scheduled, it is in the best interest of our community. Excitedly, our CommUNITY picnic will now take place in conjunction with Homecoming and be held on Friday, October 13 (before the Homecoming football game, 5:00 - 6:45 p.m.) We will send a reminder and updated RSVP form at the end of this month.
We are so grateful for our many parent and faculty volunteers and all they have done in preparation for this fun event including the ESD Global Competency Council and our event co-chairs Chitra Maridi and Evelyn Yu. Questions? Please contact Antonia Moran.
