Major emphasis will be placed on research methods, stages in childhood and adolescence, the ways the brain works, and psychological testing. The class will also have some guest speakers and perform experiments on the topics covered. The textbook for this course is Psychology for AP, 2nd edition by David Myers. All students who take this course are required to take the AP exam at the end of the course in May.
