Lower School Admission Previews

Description: Admission Previews are an opportunity to learn more about the Lower School program, beginning with brief presentations by the Rector and Headmaster or the Chief Academic Officer, Head of Lower School, the Lower School Chaplain, Director of Admission and Financial Aid and a few ESD students. Small group tours will be led by ESD parents following the presentations in the theatre. This program typically concludes by 11:00 a.m.
Registration: Please contact the Office of Admission, (214) 353-5738 or admission@esdallas.org, to make a reservation to attend one of the Admission Previews. In order to make the program as beneficial as possible for everyone, we do limit the number of guests. Please call in advance to make a reservation. These programs are for adults only.

Lower School Small Group Tours

Description: These tour groups are designed for families who were unable to attend one of our Lower School Admission Previews. The tours will be led by ESD parents and/or staff and will typically last about one hour. There will be time at the end to visit with Admission Staff to answer any questions you may have.

Program begins at 9:30 am
Description: The Admission Preview Day is an opportunity for applicants and their families to learn all about ESD. The morning will provide an overview of the academic programs, athletics, fine arts, student life, the wilderness program, classroom technology, and the admission and financial aid processes. Guests will hear from a student panel and visit with teachers in the classroom. In addition, a rotation of two information sessions will be presented throughout the morning. The program will conclude at 12:00 p.m.

Informational Tours for Parents – Middle and Upper School
Description: These small, student-led tours of the campus are designed with prospective parents in mind and will last approximately 45 minutes to an hour. You will have the opportunity to see our campus "in action" and visit with Admission Office Staff to answer any questions you may have. In order to make the tours as beneficial as possible, we do limit the number of guests per tour.

Sibling and Alumni Applicant Coffee

Description: Information session for applicant parents who are either current ESD parents or ESD alumni. The Director of Admission provides an overview of the admission year as it pertains to potential openings, number of candidates, trends and other pertinent topics.
