Elizabeth Conder Named Assistant Head of Middle School

Starting July 1, Elizabeth “Libby” Conder will serve the ESD community as the Assistant Head of Middle School. She will be responsible for leadership and management of all areas involving Middle School student life, including day-to-day operations, special programming, discipline, and scheduling. Regarded as a dynamic and compassionate leader and motivator, Libby comes to ESD from Canterbury Episcopal School where she served as the Director of Admission and Development. Prior to Canterbury she served as the Middle School Director, a grade level team leader, and a science teacher at North Hills Preparatory School, where she was recognized as Middle School Teacher of the Year. Her accomplishments include successfully creating and training faculty peers on cross-grade-level interdisciplinary curriculum development and implementation, launching a peer mentoring program, and establishing and spearheading the Middle School technology program. Libby earned her Master of Educational Administration from the University of North Texas and her Bachelor of Science, Elementary Education, from Texas Christian University.
