Welcome

On behalf of the Office of Admission, welcome to ESD and thank you for your interest in our fabulous school! Through the admission process, we hope to get to know your family and to help you learn all you can about ESD.  Our school meets the needs of many, but not all children.  Our goal is to help each prospective family in determining if ESD is the “right fit” for their child and family.  We hope to see you at our Admission Previews, visitation days, and special events.  We also hope you will attend other ESD functions and events, such as drama productions, guest speakers, and athletic contests, as well as visiting our student blog site: www.esdallas.blogspot.com , to get an even better feel for the culture of our school.

The Admission pages of our website are designed to make the process as uncomplicated as possible.  Once you make the decision to apply, you may do so electronically or by utilizing a paper application.  We encourage use of the online application as it allows parents of applicants to follow and track the status of the application online.  Although we hope you will utilize the online application, we do not want the ease and convenience of the online process to take the place of personal conversations and interaction. 

The process of applying to an independent school can sometimes be a daunting and overwhelming experience.  The ESD Office of Admission staff is dedicated to making our admission process user-friendly and informative.  Our doors are always open to your questions and comments please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.
