LIBRARY AND RESOURCES

MISSION STATEMENT

The Episcopal School of Dallas Libraries nurture the intellectual spirit of our community. We provide a wide array of resources in welcoming, innovative, and flexible common spaces for the purpose of supporting and encouraging the exploration of interests and the pursuit of passions in accordance with ESD's Mission and Educational Philosophy.

ESD students learn how to access information; how to apply information to a specific purpose; develop critical thinking skills necessary to distinguish sources one from another; understand and accept all responsibilities that come with being a borrower; appreciate the library as a lifelong information and recreation resource and demonstrate confidence in the use of all libraries.
